About Us...

Well, I guess "us" is actually "me".  I have been around and worked with children my whole life.  I received my Bachelor of Education degree in 1992.  Shortly thereafter I went into the childcare field and worked with school aged children for 4 years.  Having an entrepeneurial spirit, I decided to open my own daycare!  I owned and operated my own daycare filled with 80 children for 5 years.  I loved working with and getting to know all the children and their families immensely.  However, my husband and I soon decided it was time for children of our own and I decided to say goodbye to my 80 "other children" and their families.  This was a very hard decision for me as I had grown very close to many of the children, their parents and my staff.  However, I wanted to be a stay at home Mom. 

I have now been at home with my two girls for 8 years and I have loved every minute.  However, that entrepeneurial spirit is still there and I am venturing into something new and exciting that will allow me to be there for my girls when they need me. 

Over the past few years, I have discovered that I love to throw children's parties!  I like everything about it.  From choosing the theme to picking out the plates and napkins to decorating; I like it all!  Finding the perfect favors to add to those party loot bags is exciting for me!

Because I have two little girls, aged 8 and 5, I have been to quite a few birthday parties over the years.  In talking with the other moms, I discovered that not every parent out there shares my enthusiasm for the whole party planning ordeal!  Of course, all parents are excited for their child when his birthday comes along.  However, not all parents have the time and/or patience to take care of all the little details of that special day.   

That's where I come in!
